Short Series- Intimate look into life as a Peace Corps Volunteer
Project info

I lived in Albania for 18 months serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where I worked in a high school as an english teacher. Albania is going through a tumultuous time as it processes its own sense of identity in relation to the rest of Europe, especially post-communism. I was able to take photographs more freely with my old Roliflex film camera, but still had to build up immense amount of trust on the behalf of Albanians to know I wasn't going to use their picture for government purposes. This is an intimate series of love, anger, awe, disappointment, and inspiration.
