Volatile Nature

My city is changing every day. Over the last forty years China's growth has rocketed. This change has accelerated both the industrial and urban development of the country . Development needs land and resources. It needs to be extracted from nature. From the triumph of hope over nature to the planned reconstruction of nature, urban networks have been expanding and developing. Far from its sacred status in mythology, nature is now tamed and shaped by man. All cities will continue to change.
