Peeping the city
Chengdu, my hometown, is surrounded by mountains and rarely sees the sun in winter. At the age of 18, I left it to study in college and live alone. Years later, When I returned, it had grown into a city of more than 16 million people. The concept of hometown is gradually blurred in the fast development, memory of it and the reality of it overlap but many different.
This project started on a sunny day last winter. I tried to peep into the city through the lens, observe the ordinary people living in the city, and get to know the people and things in the city again.
