Nowadays our world is becoming a “non-place”. With globalization, the definition of country is becoming hazy. I’m interested in some common places which haven’t been influenced by globalization. They’re isolated and quiet. These places are kind of intermediate places between the cities and the suburbs. They exist as a slice of time, temporary and unsteady. These characteristics remind me of my own experience, travelling through big cities in different countries. I can’t tell you too many differences between all of these cities.
My area of focus is fine art, but I find my scenes like a street photographer or photojournalist. For me, they’re transient. Even though they haven’t changed yet, you will never know what they will be in the next second. So it’s hard to plan in advance, the only way to explore these places is to be in the right place at the right time.
