This is how the UNESCO has described the Causses and Cévennes area when it listed this area as a world heritage in 2011.
I choose to photograph this area in winter through aerial views to show its incredible intricate nature.
When the leaves have fallen we can discover that life is everywhere and history is not far. We can understand what was the life of the "Camisards" and all the population from before and now living in that territory. This land, as a refuge, has always received people who wanted to live their own life with a great respect to values like tolerance, freedom and humanity.
