Project info

The series explores the landscape as witness and symbol of economic and social transformations that has suffered the metropolitan area of Lima for the past 5 years. The project aims to highlight an apparent growth occurred in the industrial sector on the southern outskirts of Lima, which contrasts with the strong own rural roots in the area, where the queen of improvisation. Through "South Perimeter", Solange Adum goes into that territory and seeks to represent a growth that has been taking place in dialogue between nature and man's hand and summoning a literal presence to replace it with a more subtle, where pressing loneliness establishes a link between oneself and the natural environment.
