Untitled Faux-Portrait Series
In an on-going attempt to subvert my own longstanding focus to promote idealized marketing images, I have reclaimed the celebrated faces I've photographed into an intimate reflection of my own. Altering the portrait from representational object into an impressionistic visual language, it is no longer concerned with the reality it captures. I intentionally compromise my original photograph and engage it anew and redefined.
The prints are 24x36
