New York City Portraits

Although I no longer live in NYC, I try to visit as often as possible. NY always offers endless opportunities for photographers and New Yorkers are always great subjects for portraits. I love walking the streets of the city and come across fascinating people who are usually kind enough to take a moment to stand in front of my camera. I shoot quickly and don't give too many directions. I try to capture the essence of the person in front of me without any preconceived ideas or judgement.
