This environmental portrait series “Faces of Suburbs” is all about the diversity in India. India presents endless varieties of physical features and cultural patterns. The vast population is composed of people having diverse creeds, customs and colors. The Indian sub-continent received a large number of migratory races mostly from the Western and the Eastern directions. Majority of the people of India are descendants of immigrants. This series illustrates this diversity in faces, attire, culture and habitat in different parts of India be it milkman from the deserts of Pushkar, lady from Himalayas, Sawariya tribe from North East India.
