Pacific to Atlantic
Project info

On July 1st 2013 after selling all of my possessions, I got into a '96 Toyota Tercel in Bellingham, Washington and began driving, with only a map, a backpack, and a final destination of Boston, Massachusetts, where I had a one-way plane ticket to Spain waiting for me.

The goal was to create a broader concept of what I was leaving behind before starting a new chapter of my life somewhere else. While driving, I tried to pay special attention to details that would normally pass me by; soaking up every landscape and noticing the expressions of strangers. These images represent things that affected my perception of the United States during my 17 days on the road.
