I used to be a 'landscape and nature' guy—and still do a lot of that—but people are so much more interesting.
How did they come this place at this moment? Where are they going from here? What's going on in their heads at the very moment of the shot? What do they want from this moment? What do they think they want? And what do they see—just then?
Questions that will never be answered; and if you asked them, even they almost certainly could not tell us either. Not even Lisa ('Touching' and 'Offering') my favorite model; and a good friend as well.
They're still there: the questions never to be answered—even during the technical task of processing the images. Because each time I look, I wonder...
