In Search of my Father
Most of my work revolves around trying to make sense of the world and my place in it. ‘In search of my father’ is no exception.
I was never close to my father and would have liked to see more of him while growing up. He was busy making ends meet and providing us with a better future.
Then came growing up, loss of identity and bewilderment. Thought I was getting on with life and learned to cover up the pain.
In my street photography I was always drawn to silhouetted men and dark shaped figures only to realize that now in my 40’s I’m still the boy, searching for my father
…and the pain is still there.
