This is a series of photos that I took in the celebration of Iemanjá, the queen of the sea. She represents fertility and is the protector of the home, family, boats and fishermen. It is a celebration that takes place on February 2 in all the american countries of the South Atlantic. On that day, worshipers such as Africanism, Candomblé and Umbanda (including the Quimbanda) go to the sea carrying boats with offerings for the queen.
