Senegal: Vivid and Colourful
Project info

While travelling I like to stroll around and follow people in their surroundings as they go about their daily lives ; people are waiting or walking, working or eating, children are playing and there is always something beautiful, someting special. All the pictures tell little stories about love, desire and happiness, about inconsistency juxtaposed humour in the brilliant light and colours of this poor african country. And I felt a lot of energy and power.
I always was the only white man among the african people; but I tried to get invisible to take pictures without any posing, to have a familiar and pleasant atmosphere with the locals and to respect their dignity.
The photographs were taken in Senegal, West-Africa.
