There is something so peculiar about Myanmar. Unexpected scenes, visually intriguing. It displays an unusual kind of beauty: either plainly magnificent sometimes, or odd, somehow elusive. The eye gets progressively used to it, it takes time to appreciate it. I just wanted to try and capture this charming oddness. I am not sure that I even like the pictures I have taken when I look at them today; but if I take the time to think of the moment when I took them, I get why I suddenly took the camera out of the backpack at this very second.
