I started photographing in Athens in 2009, incidentally in a period when the financial crisis was about to burst in Greece.
In the spring of 2010, the prime minister announced the recourse of the country to a financial support mechanism. Since then, new words have entered our vocabulary, whilst things that probably no one would have ever imagined happened.
Since these last 8 years, the photographic procedure has allowed me to observe people in their public interactions. Most look distressed or confused, some happy, others indifferent. Photography captures their moments. I don' t have the ambition to tell their stories, but in their reflections I try to discover my personal limits.
