I've been accompanied by free-floating anxiety from the start.
I once suspected it was an absence of identity, but with time I discovered it's more interesting than that. An entity in it's own right, it changes direction and preference, tempo and rhythm, color and intensity. And it's always present, echoing the possible and the nearly possible.
One day, after working on photograms, I decided to play around with light coming from below. I approached the scanner with no direction, no specific hope, but over time I found images that mirrored aspects of my anxiety.
Thus this project was born
