Ordinary People in the Land of Kim
Project info

Is ignorance truly bliss, and if it is then who is right? The minority that dissents or the majority that lives as zombies to the norm?
The most repressed country in the world ruled by a dynasty that has functions off a blend of Juche-ism, communism and cultism. The majority of the country is caught in a vacuum of knowledge about the outside world and their place in it. Pyong Yang, as capitol is reserved for those deemed most loyal, the inner party. But, does that make the residents monsters responsible for feeding the beast, or brainwashed zombies that will do anything that is asked to keep their status in place? I don’t believe this is the case, to me I see them, like I saw the majority of the unnamed characters in 1984, as simply ordinary people. Living in a vacuum of knowledge about the outside world and their place in it. Normal people that enjoy a piece of cake, walks in the sun and the occasional dirty joke.
