Faces of Havana
Project info

Havana, Cuba is famed for its crumbling colonial buildings that were left to the elements after the 1960s revolution. However, the most alluring part of the city for me is its people. Cuba’s political landscape is changing and as a result so are the people. Their culture appears to be in a dichotomy with one leg dangling in the waters of their famous past, a fabled socialist uprising, while the other has embraced technology, mainly the smartphone, and all the social changes this quick access to information brings. These photos document the faces of modern day Havana, with all the colour, beauty and vivaciousness that makes the city a must see for all.
