My Palm Against The Glass
This work is a series of portraits displaying the feelings of being caught in a dis-associative state. Portraits that shadow, distort, or hide the face completely is a common theme throughout this series. When caught in a fit of disassociation, you lose sense of yourself, you often look in the mirror and you don't know who you are. The characters throughout my works are looking to shield their physical face to showcase what not knowing who lives behind it feels like.
