Valuing Land: through engagement & play
Project info

The following images form a personal perspective on how land formed an important part of my play as a child, and then compares this with the opportunities presented today from a place I had yet to know. It does so by juxtaposing images of the place where I grew up in Thornhill, West Yorkshire with a new place I had recently moved to in Glasgow.

My intention is to question whether children still have the opportunity to engage with land and play in the same way as my adult memory recalls, and if not then how will this impact on the way children value land in the future?
