These are pictures of an abandoned mining town, in Chile. Deserted places always carry the trace of ghosts. These cities are marked by the footprints of two men: the one who built it and left, and the one who removed the weeds and restored the walls. All these cities look alike because the two fingerprints are superimposed on each other. But in the space between the two, a meander is formed, an optical illusion : in this space the silhouette of the ghost is created. To indulge in this illusion, to seek the spectre, is part of the encounter.
