Men sitting on the Road, Havana
Project info

Sitting in front of your home is very popular in Latin America. Wooden or plastic chairs, stair steps, everything is used to sit down in front of buildings. It's a way to stay out, watch what's going on, control, keep relationship with your neighbors, keep an eye on their children if they have something to do out. Usually it's a women's thing, but I noticed several men with this habit in Havana and I decided to describe them in pictures. I shot mainly using a smartphone because I want they looked at me like a common person and not a photographer.
