Sociedad Annonima
Project info

From ancient Rome to modern-day Buenos Aires, living in the city has been an enduring human aspiration.
In the imaginary of the city, the journeyer can create a rootless identity and ensure survival by merely adhering to a set of rules.
Certain cities have served as shelters for their inhabitants; others have imposed regulations to wash away identities and traditions; still others have devoured those who have arrived unprepared and filled with illusions,
In the tradition of street portraits, Sociedad Annónima does away with anything that might distract the attention of these inhabitants.
In photographs that make use of dramatic natural light, this work shows eminent citizens, willing to learn and brimming with illusion.
