Daylesford is a little town about 2 hours north west of Melbourne. I had seen pictures on the web where it was bright and beautiful; blue skies and lake, green foliage and a lively atmosphere. When I arrived there, it was the opposite of this. The town felt cold, old and spooky. So I decided to make a portrait of the town that I saw rather then the guide books.
I created the photos with a tilt shift lens by shifting it all the way to create distortion and not worrying about the rain on my camera. The photos are cold and broken. An outsiders portrait of a little town.
