The City-Hof is a stain of shame. But the way it has been treated for years and how the city of Hamburg is bleeding the City-Hof dry, is also a shame.
When it was built by the architect Klophaus, this building wasn't ment to look like this: disfigured by gray eternit plates since decades. I'd really like to have a look behind those plates. They say, there's a beautiful facade hidden.
It's the entrance of every building in the world, that welcomes the visitor. By barricading these doors, they tell everybody, that they're not welcome anymore. These entrances are not accessible any longer. But even though, the City-Hof has been blemished multiple times, there's still a beauty within.
This building wasn't ment to look like this, and it also wasn't ment to die like this.
