Project info

“The devil is in the details” I said as I explained the project risks to a senior manager. In their reply they rephrased the popular maxim to: “the angels are in the details”. Their turn of phrase was not a rebuke or challenge but a natural part of the ongoing meeting dialog from their perspective. Each a side of the same coin, one representing dissonance, and the other harmony. The conversation occurred many years ago and I still think about that novel twist on an old adage quite often. In a twist of synchronicity I use some of nature’s smallest details to create abstract images. In these images “dissonance” and “harmony” mix and juxtapose without the judgement of good or bad but tools of creation, with a goal of creating an energy, and purpose, within the work that attracts the mind and spirit as well as the eye.
