There are things that are difficult to see with the human eye.
Sub perceptible, these are sometimes best conveyed in abstraction.
Sadness, love, happiness, despair; what they would look like if we could see them.
I turn my camera on people as they come to rest by the waters of the Ganges in Varanasi and The Bay of Bengal in Madras, wondering what I would see if I could sneak a peek into their minds. Painting with the camera, I capture melting personalities, moving people, asymmetric spontaneous geometry, transience, elements of the psychedelic and vivid colourations in this other world.
Opening up to the infinite, I let the moment record what it wants.
