Marlin – the metaphor of Cuba
Project info

Cuba is maintaining its tradition and its essence, but something seems to be transformed. The idea at the basis of this ongoing 2-years work is to observe how Cuba is reacting to its historical step. The metaphor is born reading the book “The Old man and the Sea” by Hemingway, in which a character, Marlin, seems to represent my personal interpretation of Cuba, that is “fighting” with America and more in general with the progress, reacting and contrasting what seem to be the destiny to be realized.
