Afghanistan: towards «good governance»
The purpose of the international Nato mission "Resolute Support" is to help the Afghan security forces and institutions to develop the capacity to defend Afghanistan and protect its citizens in a sustainable manner.
The mission represents the next chapter of the war efforts undertaken by the United States of America and other countries of the international coalition to establish political balance within the various ethnic groups and political factions of the country.
In order to guarantee this balance, development plans have been adopted that are typical of Western economies, such as support for planning, planning and the use of long-term financial resources, and ensuring transparency and vigilance with a view to anti-corruption.
The militarization of the country guarantees to the Afghan population to live in a state of "controlled peace" because tensions are still present and derive from the Taliban and Daesh terrorism that infest the territory and it stands as a forced model through which to introduce in Afghanistan the principles of «good governance« that is slowly changing the social and anthropological identity of the country.
The series focuses on which aspects of society the model of governance is still working.
