Bad Weather and No People - Streets of rural Ireland
Project info

When you think street photography, you think big city. New York, London, Tokyo. Colors, action, constant flow of people and diversity.

Things are different for someone who lives in small Irish town. There are few people on the streets and you are almost guaranteed bad weather. However if you are patient and you love watching people you may get rewarded.

All photos from this project were taken on the streets of small Irish cities and towns. Kilkenny, the biggest of them, has a borough population of 8 711 and a total of 24 423.
