About Raichelle Colbert-Ruffin

Raichelle Colbert-Ruffin, pronounced Ray-shell, is a Black American artist based in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida and her medium is digital photography. Her greatest inspiration has always been her family and she is passionate about making images that will help a memory last for many lifetimes. She is motivated by the need for black representation, as well as the need for social justice in marginalized communities within the United States. She hopes to be able to say something and advocate for change through her work. When she started with photography, she was self-taught. But she later began the journey of pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Photography at Arizona State University, which has helped her to cultivate her craft to a new level.
