Rhombie Sandoval was born in Southern California where she received her Bachelors of Fine Art at Art Center College of Design. Her practice is intimately linked to her immediate origin which changes often. Drawn to living abroad, she works towards making the transition from tourist to local through her practice of creating portraits of her encounters. Her work focuses on discovering a common ground and sharing this through storytelling.
She founded Anywhere Blvd which promotes the work of portrait photographers through sharing the stories of their subjects.
