Rob Long is a professional artist and Principal of Clear Story, a Pittsburgh-based design and consulting firm he founded in 2007. Clear Story designs permanent lighting for the built environment and collaboratively supports the work of artists in performance, museum and public art settings. Rob’s creative practice bridges the disciplines of architecture, theatre and fine art—working with light and technology to create dynamic and memorable experiences.
Rob has nurtured a life-long fascination with photography, starting with his first Polaroid camera at the age of 8. He has exhibited work at Silver Eye Center for Photography, Pittsburgh Filmmakers, the Mattress Factory, Zynka and other regional galleries. Rob’s photographs are held in private and institutional collections.
