I took my first photos when I was ten years old, after that followed by a study photography and a career as a professional photographer for years.
Later in my life I changed direction, worked among other things with young delinquents, acquired an university degree in literature, did teaching and training and so on.
I took up photography again in 2003 focusing on documentary and portrait.
I organised photo workshops with disadvantaged children in Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine), projects with orphans, abandoned kids and street-children. In the UK I was invited to work with so-called ‘young offenders’. Later also with groups of adults.

Nowadays I focus only on own autonomous work of which this submission is an example.
