A retired professor of drama, I have decades of experience in radio, television and theater where I have worked as a writer, designer, director and critic. Photography has always informed my life and influenced my work but, only since retiring, has it received my full creative attention.
My photographic interests cover a range of genres from abstracts to landscapes, with forays into architectural design, streetpics, and performance. I do portfolio work featuring portraits, life-style and fitness shots, primarily for models, actors and friends. Working at home and outdoors, I forego formal studio settings for natural backgrounds and lighting, without forfeiting technical quality. I love to travel, almost as much as I enjoy shooting pictures. When I can combine travel, photography and personal, creative, interaction, I consider myself a lucky man.
