Rodrigo Viñas studied Art in the university Claustro de Sor Juana (Mx) and fulfilled his master degree in the UNAM and in the National Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. In 2011 he was part of the Contemporary Photographic Seminar in Centro de la Imagen (Mx) and of the Program Fotoensayo Pachuca (Mx). He is currently a Robert Gardner Fellow of the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard University. In 2015 he was awarded the WYNG Masters Award Commission. He work has been shown in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, India, New York, UK and Hong Kong, among others. His work has been widely exhibited in Mexico, where he lives and works as an independent artist. He is co-founder and member of the art collective TRES since 2009.
