Roger Archibald is the photo editor of the Society of Environmental Journalists, and one of the co-founders of the North American Nature Photography Association.
He's written numerous articles of up to 4,500 words for the quarterly publication of SEJ, and contributed numerous stories and photos to Northeast Boating (formerly Offshore) Magazine, a New England regional publication devoted to maritime recreation, between 2003 and 2009.
He's had other feature writing published in: American Forests, Harvard, Birder’s World, The Denver Post, The San Francisco Examiner and The Salt lake Tribune.
Feature pictures have appeared in: Life, Sports Illustrated, Fortune, Reader’s Digest, Islands, National & International Wildlife, Sail (cover), American Forests (2 covers), DuPont and Marie Claire.
And since 2013, he's contributed images to 15 group exhibitions, and had one solo show at Fidelity Investments in Boston.
He holds degrees in anthropology and communications.
