Born in Brooklyn, I have been a photographer since age 12. Originally with a film Rolleiflex and now with a Nikon Digital.
My focus is on the interaction between people and their immediate environment, natural or manmade --- how they react to what is going on around them.
But I also attend to the drama in landscapes and finding art in the mundane
I am retired, but active, having just established Levienarts.com. to display my photography more widely.
