Rylan Steele is an artist and professor in Columbus, Georgia. He has exhibited photographs in numerous regional and national exhibition spaces including the Georgia Museum of Contemporary Art, Hathaway Gallery in Atlanta, the Houston Center for Photography, and the Light Factory. Rylan has been a finalist for the Hudgens Prize for Georgia Artists and the Lange/Taylor Prize awarded by the Duke Center for Documentary Studies. His first monograph, Ave Maria, was published by Aint-Bad Publications in 2016. Earlier this year, Rylan installed a solo exhibition at the Atlantic Center for the Arts.
