Sabrina Guitart, is a Franco-Spanish photographer, poet and filmmaker living in Portland, OR. In her photographic work, she often seeks to combine the poetic imagery and word that she refers as; visual-poems.
As a filmmaker, she has produced and directed several short films and documentaries. Her artistic-ecological film ¨Salmon-Poet¨with legendary Portland poet, Walt Curtis produced in 2010, was a turning point to entirely devote her artistic endeavors towars a poetic expression of the reality she breaths and that she manifests in her photography, film and writing.
She has done innumerable individual and collective photography shows, and has published travel and cultural articles and photography in magazines such as "Black & White magazine" from California, and "La fotografía" from Barcelona.
She lives between Portland, OR where she studied journalism and has lived many years, and her native mountains of the Pyrenees on the border between Spain and France.
