Sade Fasanya is a Nigerian-American photographer based in NYC. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York but frequently travels worldwide with her lens, highlighting and documenting the unique stories of diverse communities and cultures. Sade works within different genres of photography including street, documentary, and portraiture using both film and digital cameras as her medium. As the co-founder of the visual artist collective Souls in Focus, Sade builds spaces to inspire, educate and connect the community to culture through varying visual media forms. Her works are currently part of the collection at The Brooklyn Museum.
