Sai Htin Linn Htet is a freelance photographer based in Yangon. In his professional work Sai focuses on stories about human rights, animal rights, pollution, identity and discrimination. He formerly worked as an educator, providing Peace Education Courses to politicians, civil society organizations, activists and youths from all over the country.
Sai also creates personal documentary work looking at his own emotions and identity through self-reflective visuals. His vision is to integrate his peace building and photography expertise to support social justice and the resolving of on-going multidimensional conflicts of Myanmar.
Sai was a finalist at the Miami Street Photography Festival 2017 and has won awards at Yangon Art and Heritage Festival, Yangon Photo Festival and Fotomarathon. He derives pleasure from exploring surrealism in everyday life and devotes most of his time to photography.
