Sandra Larochelle lives and works in Montréal. After several years in the areas of communications and marketing, she decided to change directions and study photography. While Larochelle’s work is primarily commercial, she is also deeply invested in a creative, exploratory practice that has allowed here to develop her own unique visual signature. Since completing her studies at Collège Marsan in the summer or 2015, she has received four awards for her work: Applied Arts Magazine’s Applied Arts Award, in the Limited-Edition/Gallery Photography Series category; two Lux Prizes from Infopresse, for her personal research; and the M5 Prize from Collège Marsan, for her portfolio.
