Sara Wiegele was born in 1979 in Klagenfurt (Austria). In 2004 she completed her studies of Journalism and Communication Science. Two years later, she finished her studies of Applied Business Management. In 2011 she started her studies at the Free Academy of Fine Arts which she successfully completed in 2015. Exhibitions in fine arts followed.
“Photography offers me a visual expression of art which gives me the opportunity to search for truthfulness in a real, constructed and changing world. Often there is no need for concrete answers but rather the feeling of a moment of sincerity in a perceived reality. Still keeping the space open for necessary questions in order to reflect the world and its society. Letting go from concepts to free my mind in order to create new approaches for my imagery.”
