Born in the city of Montevideo, Uruguay, Sebastian Kunold has lived for more than 40 years in Mexico, where he has developed a career as a professional photographer. For more than 20 years he has specialized in performing arts photography, portrait and commercial photography. He has participated in several collective and individual exhibitions in Mexico City and different states of the republic such as: Chiapas, Jalisco, Oaxaca, Nuevo León and Veracruz.
He was a fellow of the PECDA-Veracruz program in the 2015 edition within the Creators category for the realization of the project “Foreign Spaces - Portraits of Migration” which was selected to participate in the Second Biennial of Photography of Oaxaca in 2016. In 2017 He was also creditor of the "Support for the Creation and Artistic Development of Veracruz", for the realization of the second part of the project Foreign Spacess - Portraits of Migration wich was selected to participate in the Third Contemporary Photography Contest.
