Sharon Eilon is a street and documentary photographer based in Israel whose work is rooted in personal transformation and lived experience. A major health journey led her to India, where a deep reconnection with life, healing, and presence profoundly shaped her perspective. This transformation influences her artistic voice, which draws from travel, philosophy, and the quiet poetry of everyday human experiences. Through her lens, Sharon seeks to reveal the beauty and complexity of the human condition - capturing intimate, layered moments that are both personal and universal.
Her work has been exhibited internationally in galleries across New York, Paris, Tokyo, Barcelona, and more, and has been featured in renowned publications including L’Oeil de la Photographie, FonoNostrum Magazine, and The Pictorial-List. She is a multiple award-winner, with recognitions from Women Street Photographers, Exibart Street, PISPA, IPA, PX3, and the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards. Most recently, she was awarded 3rd place in the 2025 Street Photography Contest judged by Magnum photographer Nikos Economopoulos, who praised her winning image as “a solid photograph, full of layers, where every element is perfectly placed, made with a professional eye that tells the story in the best possible way.”
