From a young age, I could draw with precision. In high school, I worked as a nurse's aide and later became a USAF aircraft mechanic and an EMT. Post Air Force, I pursued graphic design to avoid the "starving artist" stereotype. But my proudest title? Single mom. Despite my passion for fine art photography, financial needs took precedence. Art took a backseat to a regular paycheck, with fears of financial instability looming.
Then, an opportunity arose: a mentorship program. Taking a financial leap for it, I reignited my artistic spark. But challenges persisted: camera malfunctions and mentor doubts. Yet, I was unyielding. Driven by determination, I proved my doubters wrong, gaining awards and recognition.
Each photo mirrors my passion and dedication. Through setbacks and criticisms, I've realized why artists persist. Today, I represent hope for every dreamer facing challenges. My journey has shown that with resilience and heart, dreams crystallize.
