Silvia Stella Branchesi was born in Italy, she currently works and lives in Macerata.
Branchesi is a visual artist. From 2009 to 2012 she has been involved in various art activities and has organized exhibitions and art festivals to promote the local artists in Italy. In 2012 she moved to London where she started new collaborations with other artists. In 2016 she moved to Berlin where she worked with other artists as well and had many collaborations and exhibitions.
Her inspiration comes mainly from the inner self and memories as a reflection to social, and cultural issue that society faces. She often use candid snapshots , employs found objects and staged photographs. In the last years she worked mainly with self-portraits.
She has taken part in collective exhibitions locally and internationally.
