Simón Calle was born in 1989 in Bogotá. In 2007, at the age of 18, he traveled to Buenos Aires to study at the UBA (University of Buenos Aires), where he began a career in communication sciences. However, two years later he found his passion in film and photography and entered the school (CIEVYC) where he developed his study in Film Directing. His life passes between the cinematographic study and his personal exploration in photography, and soon with his first camera he begins his photographic search in the streets of Buenos Aires, where he is constantly attracted by black and white and a strong interaction of images. lights and shadows
In his latest works he has allowed himself a more personal search, away from social reality and focusing on a more inner work. His work covers the landscapes of the soul, the forces of nature, the spiritual based on the psychological and emotional states of his character and also implements simple and minimalist compositions with the environment.
